I contemplated sending our dog hank to Will and his team for the longest (like 6 months) because it was rather expensive. I decided to send hank to Will and his team with basic obedience already under his belt. Hank would pull like a sled dog on just about any collar/harness and just wasn’t trustworthy off leash. Cue Will and his team. Hank attended their off leash obedience program and when we came to pick hank back up, he was a totally different dog! When they say they give your dog a 100% reliable recall they mean it! We are able to do so much more with hank now because we are not constricted by where we can take him. Sending my dog to Ridgeside K9 NC was the best decision I made all year! Before the board and train, Walter was a bundle of energy who had no ability to self-calm. Every time we’d leave him, he would work himself up into a panic and bark non-stop. Since his board and train he’s a changed man! As a new comer to the Morehead/ New Bern area I first adopted my dog without having the slightest clue as to how to train her. I went to several other dog trainers in an attempt to learn how to safely and effectively get her to be calm around other animals and people out in public. But unfortunately their methods were not cutting it. Will, Taylor, and the Carolinas Ridgeside K9 team has superseded all my expectations when I first entered my dog in for the off leash B&T. About Ridgeside K9 Toledo

'Owner, Rich Hartman, is a Northstate local, born and raised in Chico, Ca. He is a 25-year veteran of law enforcement. For 15 years Rich was a full-time K9 Handler.'

Ridgeside K9 NorCal Dog Training offers various dog training programs, including board and train and day training, among many other programs. However, dog owners can opt for private training. Private training entails training the dog owner to motivate and train their dog to communicate and engage. Our expert trainers evaluate the client’s dog and the situation it lives in. We also listen to the owner to establish what works and what doesn’t. Our trainers also evaluate the dog’s temperament and behavior. After that, we teach the owner how to develop a relationship using various tools and techniques. Afterward, we develop a plan to train the dog and also equip the owner with skills to train the dog further after they leave.
